Corporate entertainment in Las Vegas

Competing with the Strip.

A Las Vegas convention week is a contest for attention. Attendees have a hundred places to be and a thousand things to look at, and the city never stops putting on a show. What cuts through is something personal: their name, their company, their own thought read out loud. That is what a corporate mentalist does, and it works on a show floor, in a hospitality suite or in a ballroom. Johnny has worked shows including CES, NAB and HIMSS, and Omni Magic has performed in Las Vegas for a software company's conference and a national automaker's sales council.

01 · Trade show floor

Stop the aisle, then hand off to your team.

At the Las Vegas Convention Center, the Venetian Expo or Caesars Forum, your booth is one of hundreds and the aisle moves fast. A short mind reading piece at the edge of your booth draws a crowd in about a minute, holds them while your reps find the real buyers, and ends on a moment tied to your product. Then the cycle starts again, every ten to fifteen minutes, all show day.

It happens inside your existing booth, with no extra floor space, and your badge scanners stay in the loop. Here is the full trade show magician breakdown.

02 · Suites and ballrooms

After the floor closes, the night starts.

Resort ballrooms and hospitality suites host the client dinners, awards nights and incentive receptions that make the trip worth taking. A stage show of 15 to 60 minutes fits between dinner and awards, with your company, your product and your people built into the finale. Hypnosis is an option when the room wants one big laugh they all share.

Mind reading works for 30 guests in a suite and for 700 in a ballroom. For two rooms at once, Johnny and Dylan perform together.

03 · Receptions and pool decks

Walk around magic for the part of the trip people remember.

Welcome receptions, rooftop mixers and pool deck parties are where a group of strangers turns into a team. Close up magic moves table to table and group to group, so every guest gets a moment of their own and the people around them react together.

There is no setup and no stage, and it works anywhere in the venue. Have a hybrid group with people who could not travel? We also run live virtual shows on Zoom.

“Johnny performed for a company party a while back, but I remember him as the highlight of the evening. Not that the board's speeches and lukewarm food were stiff competition, haha but he really was a great showman. Highly recommended!”

Las Vegas corporate magician FAQ

Before you book.

Do you perform at Las Vegas conventions and trade shows?

Yes. Johnny runs booth rotations and show floor activations, and has worked shows including CES, NAB and HIMSS. Sets run in short rotations, usually every ten to fifteen minutes, and each one ends with a handoff to your team for lead capture.

Can you perform in a hospitality suite or a resort ballroom?

Yes, from a suite of 30 guests to a ballroom of 700. We coordinate timing, the microphone and load in with the resort's banquet team and your AV crew, and we arrive 60 minutes before showtime.

What is the difference between a corporate magician and a corporate mentalist?

A corporate magician uses sleight of hand and illusions. A corporate mentalist uses psychology, mind reading and prediction, which feels more personal. In a city full of spectacle, that personal quality is what attendees remember, and many Las Vegas programs combine both in one evening.

Where do you travel from, and how is travel handled?

We are based in Los Angeles and fly in. Travel is quoted as its own line, separate from the show, and we plan to arrive ahead of time so a delayed flight never touches your start time.

Are you insured for resorts and convention centers?

Yes. We carry $2M in general liability through K&K Insurance, and your certificate of insurance comes formatted to the venue's exact wording, usually within 24 hours.

How far ahead should we book for convention week?

As early as you can. Convention weeks are when flights and hotels are tightest, so earlier is easier for everyone. For custom booth work, six to twelve weeks is ideal and three weeks is workable.
