What happens at the party

A real show, built for the ages in the room.

Not a babysitter with a deck of cards. A 30 to 45 minute show built for the age group, where the birthday kid is the star and every child gets to be part of the magic. Parents get to sit down. Nobody stares at a phone.

01 · The birthday show

Everyone on the grass, and it begins.

30 to 45 minutes of interactive magic built for the age group. Ages 4 to 6 get silly magic, a live rabbit reveal option and lots of chances to shout the magic word. Ages 7 to 9 are the sweet spot: old enough to be amazed, young enough to lose their minds. Ages 10 to 12 have seen YouTube and think they know how it's done. They don't.

Parties of 10 to 40 kids, backyards, living rooms and park pavilions. We need about a 6 by 8 foot spot and room for the kids to sit facing one way. No stage needed.

02 · The finale

The birthday kid is the star.

The birthday kid is brought up for the finale and gets the biggest applause of the day. If you want a specific surprise, a card with their name or their favorite toy appearing, tell us a week ahead and we'll build it in.

A room of four year olds needs something different from a room of ten year olds. Dylan reads the age, the energy and the space, then shapes the show to fit. That's why families rebook year after year.

03 · While the cake comes out

Balloon animals and close-up magic.

After the show, balloon animals or close-up magic while the cake comes out. Or skip the sit-down show: Dylan moves through the party doing close-up magic in small groups and twisting balloon animals on request for 60 to 90 minutes. That works for open-house parties, trampoline parks and venues where the kids won't sit still.

Total time on site is usually about an hour.

04 · The grown-ups

Parents get a show too.

Family parties where grandparents, parents and cousins all want in: Dylan does the kids show, then roams the adults with close-up magic that fools the grown-ups. For 40 or more kids, a bounce house and a taco cart, a stage-style show with a sound system brings the whole yard to one spot for 45 minutes.
