Everyone sits on the grass or the living room floor and the show begins. 30 to 45 minutes of interactive magic built for the age group, with the birthday kid brought up as the star of the finale. Then balloon animals or close up magic while the cake comes out. This is the most popular format because it gives parents a real break.

My 9 year old daughter wanted a magician for her birthday and I took a chance on this company. Really happy I did. Dylan was really awesome and wonderful with kids 6-9 in age range. He had the kids enthralled and engaged the entire time. He had them ALL laughing and involved in his tricks which we all loved and appreciated. The magic was literally unbelievable. He got each adult involved as well and we still don't know how he guessed the words we chose. It was a very memorable experience for us all. Highly satisfied customer and highly recommend.

We first saw Johnny Wu perform at one of my work parties 3 years ago. He was fabulous! Now my 7 year old daughter fell in love with magic and wanted a magic show at her birthday party. We booked Dylan George as entertainment for a 45 minute act. He was on time, even earlier, and he was the highlight of the party. He was able to do a great performance for kids and adults. It was truly a first class magical experience! We had Johnny perform at our twin daughters' 11th party. Kudos to Tatiana from his team for being responsive. I had no issues with communicating with them. I wanted to give our guests a treat and what a treat it was! He didn't disappoint. He managed to fill our guests, young and old, with awe and laughter. Ages 4 to 12 is the sweet spot. Under 4 we recommend the roaming balloon format instead of a sit down show. Teens and adults get Johnny’s mentalism show, which is a different act. Tell us the ages and we will match the show.
A living room, a backyard or a park pavilion all work. We need about a 6 by 8 foot spot for the performer and room for the kids to sit facing one way. For big backyard parties we bring a sound system. No stage needed.
The birthday show runs 30 to 45 minutes depending on the ages, followed by balloon animals or close up magic while the cake comes out. Roaming bookings run 60 to 90 minutes. Total time on site is usually about an hour.
Dylan’s kids birthday shows start at $650 for a standard party and go up to about $950 for large backyard parties or mixed kids and adults formats. Johnny’s family stage show starts at $1,500. Send the date, the ages and the head count and we will confirm a price within 24 hours.
All of Los Angeles County and Orange County. Pasadena, San Marino, the San Gabriel Valley, the Westside, the South Bay, the Valley, Irvine, Newport and everywhere in between. A small travel fee applies outside the LA metro.
Always. The birthday kid is brought up for the finale and gets the biggest applause of the day. If you want a specific surprise, a card with their name or their favorite toy appearing, tell us a week ahead and we will build it in.
Weekends in spring and around the holidays book 4 to 8 weeks out. Weekdays and off season can be as little as a few days. If your date is soon, text us and we will tell you straight if it is open.
