The party you still talk about years later was never the plating or the wine. It was the moment something happened that nobody expected. That is the role Johnny plays.
Johnny moves through the party during cocktails or dinner, working groups of 5 to 10 guests at a time. Every group gets its own moment, so by the end of the night every guest has their own story. No stage, no props to set up, no space needed beyond where your guests are already standing.
For a three hour dinner party the favorite format is 90 minutes of walk-around plus a 20 minute seated piece between courses. Intimate dinners of 8 to 30 start in the living room during cocktails, then move to the table. Johnny reads the room and shapes the evening to fit it.
Drinks in hand, a 30 to 45 minute theatrical set. Volunteers are invited, never forced, and it ends on a big piece that turns the whole room into collaborators. Best for living rooms and estates with seating for everyone. Dylan George carries the same show when the night needs two performers.
