They called him Johnny Wonton Wu.

Twelve years old, new to the country, bullied so badly he thought about quitting school, until a teacher played a video of David Copperfield and the kids who mocked him went silent. He locked himself in his room for two months with a deck of cards.

Twenty years later he has performed for 700 executives at Google HQ with Google's Chief Business Officer on stage beside him, appeared on Netflix's Star Search, spoken at TEDx, and performed for Netflix, Amazon and Bvlgari. His partner, magician Dylan George, covers second rooms and family events.

Is it right for a corporate crowd?

That's who it's built for. Clean, professional material, and hypnosis only with volunteers who want to take part. No one is embarrassed, and the executives usually end up the biggest fans.

Magic, mentalism or hypnosis?

Most events combine them: close up magic during the reception, then mentalism or hypnosis as the feature after dinner. On the call he'll suggest the mix that fits your guests and your schedule.

What size events?

From an intimate dinner for twenty to a full room of executives. His largest corporate room so far was 700 at Google HQ.

What does he need from the venue?

Very little. He brings his own microphone and sound, and coordinates timing with your venue or planner before guests arrive.

Can you cover more than one room?

Yes. Magician Dylan George can work a second room or a family area while Johnny performs the main event.

How far out should we book?

Two to four months for most events, four to six for November and December holiday parties. December weekends go first, so reach out as soon as your date is set.
